A Moment of Glory! Thousands of Years Media “Script King Competition & Best Short Drama Competition” Awards Ceremony Grandly Unveiled with Label Artists Opening the Night
A major annual highlight in the Malaysian film and television industry — the Thousands of Years Media (ToYm) “Script King Competition” and “Best Short Drama Competition” dual awards ceremony — successfully concluded on the evening of June 15 at the Majestic Marine Ballroom, Confetti KL. This industry event brought together more than 300 entries from four regions across three countries (Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan), showcasing the international competitiveness of Malaysian film and television content creation.

While announcing the awards for the Script King Competition and Best Short Drama Competition, Thousands of Years Media also officially introduced its first signed female singer — Fatimah Noryyah — making a grand debut.
She appeared on stage in a stunning “princess” concept look and delivered powerful live performances of “Always Remember Us This Way”, “Bukan Cinta Biasa” by Malaysian diva Siti Nurhaliza, and the emotionally intense “Tibetan Plateau”. Through these performances, she showcased her impressive multilingual singing ability in Malay, Chinese, and English.
In his speech, founder of Thousands of Years Media and Sheng Chuang Entertainment, Datuk Wira Jment Lim, shared that the team has continuously organised multiple original competitions in recent years, including “Thousands of Years Star Power”, the Script King Competition, and the Best Short Drama Competition.
He also announced that Thousands of Years Media will soon launch at least five new short drama productions, covering diverse genres including Malay-language series and festive-themed productions.
The awards ceremony concluded successfully in a spectacular fashion. The “Thousands of Years Star Power” champions delivered energetic performances, while Fatimah Noryyah captivated the audience with her ethereal vocals.
ToYm Wardrobe also presented a pioneering fashion showcase, adding a strong visual highlight to the evening. International memory expert Mr. Zhao Jinfu also shared memory training techniques with the audience.
